America PAC

Lean / focus: Pro-Trump / Republican
Founded: 2024 (launched with Elon Musk’s backing)
Type: Super PAC
2024 cycle reported expenditures: ~$157 million on presidential race; total Musk-linked spending exceeded $250 million

America PAC was created in 2024 with funding from Elon Musk and became the second-largest outside spender supporting Donald Trump, behind MAGA Inc. The PAC operated as a major get-out-the-vote and field organization in swing states, particularly Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona — outsourcing functions that have traditionally lived inside a candidate’s own campaign committee.

Musk personally contributed approximately $239 million to America PAC during the 2024 cycle, making him by far the largest individual political donor on either side. Spending went to door-to-door canvassing, text-based voter contact, direct mail, digital advertising, and a controversial petition program that paid swing-state voters who signed in support of constitutional positions. America PAC also drew attention for a $1-million-per-day giveaway to petition signers in Pennsylvania.

After Trump’s victory, Musk announced America PAC would remain active through the 2026 midterms and future cycles, breaking with the typical post-election dormancy of single-candidate super PACs.
