Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
SuperPACs.com is an independent, nonpartisan reference site about super PACs and American campaign finance. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
Contact form submissions. If you use our contact form, we collect the information you provide — your name (optional), email address, subject category, and message. We use this only to respond to your message and to maintain a record of correspondence. We do not add contact form submitters to any mailing list.
Standard server logs. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, maintains standard web server logs that record visits to the site. These logs include IP addresses, browser type, the page visited, the time of the visit, and similar technical information. We do not actively analyze these logs; they exist for technical and security purposes.
Search engine data. We use Google Search Console to monitor how the site appears in Google search results. Search Console provides aggregate, anonymized data about search queries — we cannot identify individual users from this data.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not require accounts or registration. We do not sell anything. We do not run advertising at this time. We do not maintain a mailing list. We do not use cookies to track you across other sites. We do not share, sell, or rent any visitor information.
Cookies
The site uses essential cookies only — small data files that some functionality requires to work properly. These include:
- Session cookies needed for the contact form to function
- Cache cookies that improve site loading speed
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Third-Party Services
Our site links extensively to external sources including the Federal Election Commission, OpenSecrets, the Brennan Center for Justice, and the official websites of the super PACs we profile. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies if you visit them.
If we add Google Analytics or similar measurement tools in the future, we will update this policy and disclose what is collected.
Your Rights
If you are in the European Union (under GDPR), California (under CCPA), or another jurisdiction with similar regulations, you have rights including:
- The right to know what personal data we hold about you
- The right to request deletion of your personal data
- The right to correct inaccurate data
- The right to withdraw consent for processing
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@superpacs.com.
Children
This site is intended for general adult audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates the last revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage or via direct notification where appropriate.
