MAGA Inc. spent $75.5 million in the first 14 days of October, about $5.4 million a day. That figure comes from the pre-general report it filed with the FEC on Oct. 20. On Oct. 1 the super PAC had $238.7 million in the bank. By Oct. 14 it had $164.3 million. That is still the largest balance of any super PAC we track, but it is falling quickly.
Most of the money doesn't show up under MAGA Inc.'s name. In this election, President Trump's super PAC mostly gives money to other groups, and those groups buy the ads. Here is where the October money went, based on the filings and on reporting from CNBC, Reuters, the AP and the Washington Post.

Sources: FEC pre-general reports for MAGA Inc. and No Going Back PAC. Transfer totals as reported by CNBC. No Going Back's report lists $200 million in receipts from political committees in 2026. Safety & Affordability's report was not available when we checked.
All three committees list the same treasurer, Charles Gantt, and the same compliance firm address in Beverly, Massachusetts. MAGA Inc. converted to a hybrid PAC, which lets one committee keep a super PAC account and a traditional PAC account side by side. Our hybrid PAC explainer explains how that works.
Most of the money moved through other groups
MAGA Inc.'s October report breaks down its $75.5 million like this:
- $66.8 million in "other disbursements." This line includes transfers to other committees. In the same two weeks, No Going Back reported receiving $50 million from political committees.
- $8.8 million in independent expenditures. These are ads and other spending that MAGA Inc. paid for under its own name.
For all of 2026, MAGA Inc. has reported $34.6 million in its own independent expenditures. That matches the Washington Post's count of about $34 million in MAGA Inc.-branded ads attacking Texas Democrat James Talarico and other Democrats. The rest of the PAC's spending went through other groups.
No Going Back is spending money almost as fast as it receives it. It took in $50 million in the first half of October and spent $59.7 million on independent expenditures. That left $8.5 million in the bank, so it will depend on new transfers to keep spending through Nov. 3.
Trump's team has not explained why it uses separate entities. The Philadelphia Inquirer/AP reported that some Republicans see the MAGA brand as a drag in competitive districts. Running ads under a neutral name avoids that problem.
Where the ads are running
Senate. CNBC tallied No Going Back's Senate spending: nearly $30 million in Michigan, $27.8 million in Ohio, $11.8 million in New Hampshire and $9.9 million in North Carolina. Reuters added up the network's combined spending in the biggest races:
| Race | Republican supported | Combined Trump-network spending |
|---|---|---|
| Texas Senate | Ken Paxton | More than $36M |
| Michigan Senate | Mike Rogers | $30.1M |
| Ohio Senate | Jon Husted | More than $28M |
House. No Going Back has spent $14.4 million across Florida's 14th and 25th districts. It has spent about $5 million each in Michigan's 4th and North Carolina's 11th, and more than $1 million each in Pennsylvania's 8th, Ohio's 9th and Michigan's 7th. Safety & Affordability PAC has focused on Arizona's 1st and Maine's 2nd districts, according to CNBC.
According to the AP, the Trump-aligned groups have spent nearly $277 million since Sept. 1. The AP also noted that late money buys less. Super PACs don't get the discounted ad rates that candidates are guaranteed, so they sometimes pay more than five times as much for the same airtime close to Election Day.
Who is paying for it
MAGA Inc. raised most of its money before 2026. It started the year with $304.4 million in cash. New checks have kept coming in. Reporting from the AP and Reuters lists September donations including:
| Donor | September gift |
|---|---|
| Stephen Wynn | $8M |
| Diane Hendricks | $5M (about $30M this cycle) |
| Stephen A. Schwarzman | $5M |
| GEO Group subsidiary | $1M |
| Bijan Tehrani | $1M |
| Konstantin Sokolov | $1M |
Trump has said his operation will put more than $400 million into the midterms. That is his claim. The filings through Oct. 14 support about $300 million of spending by MAGA Inc. so far.
The controversy hanging over it
All of this spending is going on while two FEC complaints are pending. Both allege that Trump's public statements that he controls MAGA Inc.'s money describe a violation of federal law. MAGA Inc. says it complies with the law. The FEC lacks a quorum and can't act on the complaints. We covered the details in 'I Control It': The Complaint Over Trump's Super PAC.
What to watch
- 24- and 48-hour reports. Independent expenditures over certain amounts must be reported within a day or two all the way to Nov. 3. These reports will show whether MAGA Inc. sends more money to No Going Back.
- The leftover balance. If MAGA Inc. still holds more than $100 million on Election Day, that money is available for 2028, an option Trump has mentioned himself.
- Dec. 3. The post-general reports, covering Oct. 15 through Nov. 23, will give the first complete account of October and the final stretch.
